TriSMART Training Camp - Lanzarote.
TriSMART Coaching offer athletes a warm weather training camp in Lanzarote each year. TriSMART camps in Lanzarote started in 2017 and each year upwards of 20 athletes with 3 coaches / 3 groups of abilities attend. The week long camp will offer athletes a fully structured and hands on camp based in the heart of the island.
The camp is ideally for Triathletes who have or are about to undertake some winter training and looking forward to raising their fitness leading into the season. However, we have had a few enquiries from cyclists and runners who are interested in single sport specific.
For many of you, you've probably never went on a camp or considered it before. We aim to keep the costs to a minimum to open it up to more people, with a broad mix of abilities.... Here's whats included:

What will a typical camp day look like?

7am - 8am Pool Session
-
8am - 10am - Breakfast, get ready for biking

10am - 2.30pm - Bike Session - with Nutrition Stop (maybe a coffee)

3.30pm - 5pm - Run Session

5pm - 6pm - Stretching/Foam Roller/Info sessions on Nutrition/Race Prep

6pm onwards - Dinner and evening free.

What will get out of the Camp?
-
It really depends what you put into it. But initially you will get a fully structured week long camp with sessions on Swim, Bike and Run. Each day you will learn about the maintenance of your body, the importance of recovery, learn from your peers/friends. There will be opportunities for swim, bike and run analysis throughout the camp, opportunities to sit down 1-2-1 with coaches and discuss individual requirements and training.

Its an opportunity to lift your training to another level, focusing specifically on your season ahead.

Each day there will be recovery sessions, stretching and maintenance. There will also be discussions around Race Preparation, Nutrition, Annual Training Plans, Goal Setting and Race Strategies plus more

Will I be fit enough? - Ideal Minimum Requirement;
-
Swim 1000m straight. Sessions will last 60 mins.

Cycle at least 3hrs on rolling terrain. There are 2 cycle groups for various fitness levels.

Run a minimum of 10km non stop - if you have a recent injury please speak to Mark.

Although if you are cyclist/runner only, you may opt not to take part in other sessions.

If you feel there is something we could add to the camp or if you have specific requirements then we are hear to listen and hope to meet your needs. Just let us know....
How do I book?

Places are limited and already there is strong interest and a number of places booked.

A deposit of £200 is required to secure your place, Places are first come first serve.

Remaining balance £TBC before Friday 6th January. Can be paid in instalments e.g. over 2 or 3 months
